FOUNDER & CEO, BOSSY COSMETICS INC

Following a 20+ year career in global finance, Aishetu launched her mission-driven beauty brand to empower women through ethically sourced cosmetics.

A FINANCIAL EXPERT WITH GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

Her passion for global finance began in the equities division of Glodman Sachs - on the international desk in NY, to be exact - over 20 years ago.  Since then, she has:

  • Worked with Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered Bank, International Finance Corporation, and Rand Merchant Bank as a senior investment banking executive.
  • Closed $130 billion in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), loan financing, and capital markets transactions.
  • Extended her work that began in New York to Central and South America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, and South Asia.

She received her bachelor's degree from Cornell University, an master's degree from Harvard Business School and was recently a Distinguished Careers Institute Fellow at Stanford University.

Now, Aishetu joins the Milestone Makers cohort as the founder and CEO of Bossy Cosmetics.

Bossy Cosmetics produces cruelty-free-cosmetics for people of all hues and genders. They share women's voices on their #BossyBlog and partner with nonprofit organizations that actively promote social change, advancing the human rights of women and girls around the world.
