Hoda has always enjoyed helping others invest. A lifetime investor herself, she's passionate about creating ways for people to integrate investment success with their overall financial wellness and other aspects of their lives.

AN ECONOMIST AND PASSIONATE TEAM BUILDER

An economist by trade, Hoda manages her company's successful flagship portfolio. She also applies behavioral economics, data journalism, and storytelling to their product development. Outside of work, she spends her time connecting with and supporting other investors by:

  • Co-hosting the Renegade Investors podcast
  • Running the Intelligent Investors Facebook Group, a community of 10,000 stock market investors who want to support others
  • Publishing reports and contributing investment research to several online publications, including her own blog, Quora, and Inc.com, The Motley Fool's website, and TradeStocks.com

She's also a certified wine specialist who loves Rottweilers.

Before starting her company, Hoda worked as a strategist at Symantec, Aimia, and Sony. When she's creating teams, she aims to create a work environment where everyone is so inspired to participate that they "tap-dance to work happily every day."

She earned an MBA from Concordia, John Molson School of Business.
